Daphnis and Chloé

Théâtre du Moulin à Café. Saint-Omer, 7th March 2024.

Ravel's collaboration with Diaghilev and the Ballets Russes gave birth in 1912 to Daphnis et Chloé, of which Claire-Marie Le Guay recorded the original piano version (Accord/UNIVERSAL). For the 150th anniversary of Ravel's birth, Claire-Marie Le Guay joined forces with the dancer and choreographer Constant Vigier and offered a new performance of this emblematic masterpiece. "No sound but the murmur of the streams gathered by the dew flowing from the rocks. Daphnis is still lying before the nymphs' grotto. Little by little, day breaks."
